33 Senior Community Members Vaccinated in North Central San Mateo

Today BACHAC, in partnership with St. James AME Zion Church and Sequoia Hospital, vaccinated 33 senior community members from North Central San Mateo. A team of dedicated individuals organized this small pilot in less than two weeks. A big thanks goes to our partners at Sequoia, Dr. Bruno, Marie, Maria and Nora, Pastor Bussey, Sina and volunteers Monica and Giselle.

A special thanks to the BACHAC Team Stacey, Keisha, Tuna, Gloria, Oscar, Marion, Bianca and Evelia. This collaboration canvassed the community, made phone calls, registered individuals, made PPE packets, wiped down chairs, directed people to the right location, greeted people, talked to people while they waited their 15 minutes, etc. A big hit was having Dr. Bruno on site for our community members to ask medical questions. We also appreciate those of you who referred community members and spread the word in North Central San Mateo.
