We appreciate your support!

BACHAC counts on the support of individuals, corporations, mid- and small sized companies, community-based organizations, nonprofit health organizations, governmental agencies, health educators, institutions of higher learning, and the faith community to expand our work. With your help, we’ll continue to make a difference and plant seeds for a healthier world! We have several ways for you to become a part of our mission to share knowledge for life.

  • One time donation

  • Periodical Giving

  • Two Hundred Fifty Dollar Plus Club

Community Initiatives is the fiscal sponsor for the Bay Area Community Health Advisory Council (BACHAC). A fiscal sponsor is a non-profit organization that provides the administrative infrastructure, (which includes collection and management of funds) that assists organization like BACHAC. Community Initiatives has been supporting organizations as a fiscal sponsor, their primary focus, for over 20 years. Our previous fiscal sponsor, Silicon Valley Community Foundation, was phasing out their fiscal sponsorship services and was very helpful in assisting BACHAC in our transition to Community Initiatives in July 2020. Here’s what our donors say about the work we do:

BACHAC’s goal to ensure access to health promotion services to the community has improved the Health System’s ability to better serve the community. When we partner with BACHAC, it is with a confidence that they will go above and beyond to ensure a successful outcome. By providing services to all community members in underserved areas, BACHAC has greatly enhanced our health equity efforts in San Mateo County.  ~Edith Cabuslay, Program Manager, Community Health Promotion Unit

You don’t have to be rich to support BACHAC. This isn’t something we can leave to the government. They don’t know what the community needs. You have to feel that [causes you donate to] are right. Where BACHAC’s concerned, there’s no question about credibility. ~Evelyn Neely, BACHAC supporter
