Jené Morris, Former College Basketball Champion and WNBA Player Named 2025 Soul Stroll Ambassador
Jené Morris is a former professional basketball player, entrepreneur, and advocate for athlete development and wellness. A Hall of Famer at San Diego State University, Jené earned All-American honors and left her mark as one of the program’s most decorated players. In 2010, she was selected 11th overall in the WNBA Draft by the Indiana Fever, launching a professional career that spanned multiple teams and international leagues.

Today, Jené brings her passion for sport, innovation, and human performance to her role at the Nike Sport Research Lab, helping push the future of sport forward through research, insight, and athlete-centered innovation.
Beyond her work at Nike, Jené remains dedicated to empowering the next generation of athletes through mentorship, coaching, and leadership development. Her passion for helping others navigate life beyond the game continues to fuel her mission: to inspire, educate, and elevate individuals and teams to reach their full potential — both on and off the court.

With the 2025 WNBA season also starting on May 16th, it is serendipitous to have a WNBA pioneer kick off Soul Stroll weekend and the celebration of BACHAC’s 30th Anniversary!
